Bebras Final
April 19th, 2021Well done to Suzie on qualifying for the finals of the Bebras Challenge.
Final will take place on Tuesday 20th April.
Cathair Dhun Irghuis Hike
April 15th, 2021Today the children went on a hike to our local ringfort.
What a great day!
Children discovered some Burren flowers and explored the ringfort.

Aquaculture Remote Classroom
December 2nd, 2020Today the children in the senior room took part in a Zoom workshop based on Aquaculture.
The Aquaculture Remote Classroom is a Bord Iascaigh Mhara initiative aimed at students to raise their awareness of aquaculture. Aquaculture is the farming of plants and animals in the water. Aquaculture is the fastest growing food producing sector and a world leader in sustainable food production despite only 2% of the oceans used for farming.
What was covered in the webinar:
– The origins of seafood
– The role of Aquaculture on a global scale
– The role of Aquaculture on a local level
– The role of Aquaculture on a personal level (health & nutrition)
