Fire Safety Talk
February 21st, 2013Today, Gussie and Alan from the Ennistymon Fire Service came to our school.
They spoke to us about their job in the fire brigade. They discussed different safety issues in our homes and advised us on what to do should a fire start. All the children received a Safety Pack to go through at home with their parents.
Hurling Continues
February 19th, 2013Today, we commenced wearing helmets for our hurling lessons.

Swimming Lessons

Chinese New Year
February 8th, 2013On February 10th, the Chinese will commence their new year.
This year is the year of the Snake!
In our school according to the Chinese Zodiac we have,
- 6 pigs
- 4 monkeys
- 4 dogs
- 2 snakes
- 1 horse
- 1 goat
- 1 rooster
- 1 rat.

Lá Féile Bríde
February 1st, 2013Today, we made St Brigid Crosses.
We made our crosses from Art Straws.
A Naomh Bríd, Bí linn í gConaí.
The Junior room made their crosses from sticks!
Hurling Lessons
January 22nd, 2013We are continuing to have hurling lessons on Tuesdays with Peter.
We have great fun and learn alot of different skills!!!
