Some more pictures of the activities the children enjoyed as part of our school advent calendar – Christmas themed kahoot quiz, cookie decorating, chess tournament and making salt dough Christmas decorations!
Final preparations are underway for our Christmas Concert. Children have been preparing songs, poems and tunes to share with the community. You will also hear the nativity story as you have never heard it before – the senior room have written diary entries which narrate the story through the eyes of the characters themselves. A night not to be missed!
Our handcrafted Nativity Frames are now for sale. Children handpicked the stones and decorated them to depict the Nativity Scene. Many thanks to Paula and Anu for helping us to assemble them into frames. They will be available at local Christmas Markets also so keep an eye out!
Our Garden of Remembrance display will be left at the church for the month of November. Members of the community are invited to choose a handmade flower, write the name of someone in heaven they would like to remember and add it to the display.
Congratulations to our pupils who received the Sacrament of Confirmation.
The children treated the community to a beautiful carol service on Sunday. Thanks to the children for their wonderful singing and playing, and a special thanks to the parents that helped by giving lifts, baking, manning the tea stand, cleaning up and taking care of our church-gate collection
The children in both rooms created this beautiful display to remember our family and friends who have died. The hearts will be on display in Fanore Church for November with additional hearts for our parishioners to add the names of their own loved ones
